Our response to COVID-19
We are closely following the changing COVID-19 regulations and recommendations. In an effort to provide you, and your pet, with a safe experience, we have implemented the recommendations of:
PEI’s Public Health Office
PEI’s Veterinary Medical Association and the
Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.
We kindly ask that you be patient and understanding as our protocols change, as dictated by the above organizations.
Currently, we are following the recommendations listed below:
Maintain enhanced sanitation and biosecurity procedures within the veterinary facility, including:
Frequent cleaning of all surfaces and equipment
Social distancing of team members
Monitoring the health of staff and veterinarians
Prudent use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
What does this mean for you?
We would kindly ask that if you, or any person you have had known contact with, has any symptoms of COVID – 19, please follow the directions of PEI’s Public Health Office. If your pet needs Veterinary Care, or you have concerns that they may be having symptoms of COVID-19, DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC. Please reach out to us by phone or by email and we assist you as possible.
If your pet needs medication refill, prescription, food or supplies, please call 1 day in advance and we will arrange to have your products ready at our pick-up window. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that products will be ready unless 24 hours notice is given.
We would encourage people to take advantage of our on-line shopping service. Click on the RESOURCES tab at the top of our web page and follow the link to the on-line shop.

If you would rather remain in your vehicle, we are happy to accommodate you. A Team Member, will collect your pet at the car and return them when it is time to go home. If your appointment is with one of the Doctors, they will either come speak to you outdoors or speak to you over the phone.
If you need additional assistance with getting your pet into the building, just let us know when you book your appointment. We will accommodate you as best as we can!
Thanks for your patience, understanding and support. We will do our best to make this difficult time easier.
