Dr. Emily Pringle

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Pringle can trace back her desire to care for animals to the age of 3.  She distinctly remembers watching an episode of a children’s television show – “Captain Kangaroo”, where one of the characters – Mr. Green Jeans, was feeding an orphaned baby crow.  In that instant, she knew… “I’m going to do THAT someday.”

This devotion to animal wellbeing, regardless of the species or the temperament of the patient, continues to this day.  Dr. Pringle has a keen interest in the physical and emotional wellness of her patients, and feels that her day is particularly complete when she has had an opportunity for some “snake snuggles”.

Dr. Pringle completed her undergraduate Science Degree at UNB Fredericton and her Degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College.  She has been certified in Low-Stress Handling Techniques since 2014 and Fear Free patient care since 2020.

She is an active member of the:
Association of Exotic Mammal Practitioners
American Association of Feline Practitioners
PEI Veterinary Medical Association and
Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.
